Effective September 21, 2026. These terms govern the free QR Links service at zippoto.com ("the Service"), operated by Zippoto, Rockaway, New Jersey ("Zippoto", "we", "us"). By creating a QR Links account or using a Zippoto QR code, you agree to them.
The Service lets an approved business create QR codes that point to a permanent Zippoto-controlled address. The business can change the destination that address forwards to at any time from its dashboard. The printed QR code never changes; the destination behind it does. The Service counts scans and shows basic scan activity.
QR Links accounts are for appointment-based service businesses in the categories Zippoto serves, including: hair salons, nail salons, barbershops, spas, massage businesses, gyms and fitness studios, personal trainers, yoga studios, martial arts studios, dance studios, stretching and recovery businesses, saunas, tattoo studios, pet grooming and daycare, and other similar appointment-based service businesses. Your account, your QR codes, and every destination they point to must belong to and concern such a business. Accounts are approved automatically on signup; Zippoto reviews accounts and may decline or remove any account that does not meet these criteria.
QR destinations must be content about your own business: your website, booking page, contact information, landing pages, menus, pricing, reviews pages, social profiles, or videos about your business. You must not point a Zippoto QR code at content that is illegal, deceptive, infringing, adult, violent, hateful, or harmful; at malware, phishing, or scams; at content unrelated to an eligible business; or at anything that misrepresents who you are. You must not use the Service to track people in ways the law forbids, and you may not resell or sublicense the Service.
The Service is free. Each account includes up to ten (10) active QR codes. Businesses that process payments with Zippoto receive unlimited QR codes while that relationship is active. Zippoto may change these limits for future signups; limits applying to your account will not be reduced without notice.
Zippoto may suspend or terminate a QR Links account at any time for violating these terms, for pointing codes at prohibited content, for misrepresenting the business, or to protect people who scan Zippoto codes. While an account is suspended, its QR codes stop forwarding and display an "unavailable" notice instead. You may delete your codes or stop using the Service at any time. Zippoto may reclaim codes from deleted or long-abandoned accounts.
You are responsible for every destination your codes point to, including having the rights to it and its compliance with law. Zippoto forwards scanners to your destination and is not responsible for the destination's content. You will not imply Zippoto endorses your business beyond providing the Service.
If you check the marketing consent box at signup, you agree that Zippoto may send you marketing and promotional messages by email and by SMS text message to the mobile number you provide, about Zippoto features, services and offers. Consent is not a condition of using the Service. Message frequency varies; message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to any text to stop texts, HELP for help; use the unsubscribe link in any email to stop emails. Transactional and account messages (for example security notices or service changes) may be sent regardless of marketing consent.
The Service records basic information about scans of your codes (time, device type, and similar technical data) and shows it to you as scan activity. Zippoto uses this data to run and improve the Service and to show you reporting. Zippoto does not sell scan data.
Zippoto aims to keep the Service fast and available but provides it "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. Zippoto may change, add to, or discontinue features of the free Service; if the Service as a whole is discontinued, Zippoto will give reasonable notice so you can repoint or replace printed codes.
To the maximum extent the law allows, Zippoto is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenues, or business opportunities, arising from the Service, including from downtime, scan failures, or suspension under these terms. Zippoto's total liability for all claims relating to the free Service will not exceed one hundred dollars ($100).
Keep your login credentials private. You are responsible for activity on your account. Tell us promptly about any unauthorized use. Zippoto logs destination changes and administrative actions for everyone's protection.
Zippoto may update these terms. Material changes will be posted at this address with a new effective date, and continued use of the Service after that date is acceptance. If you do not agree, stop using the Service and delete your codes.
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and disputes belong to the state or federal courts located in New Jersey.
