🎁 Gift cards

Sell a gift card at the counter, or text it across the country.

Gift cards are money in the till today for work you do later, and they bring in people who've never visited. Zippoto sells them both ways — a printed card scanned at the register, or a digital one delivered by text the moment it's paid for.

How it works

Sell in store or send by text.

1. Sold in seconds at the register

Pick an amount, scan a printed card or generate a digital one, take the payment, done.

2. Delivered by text or held for the buyer

Send it to the recipient immediately, or give the buyer a private link so they choose the moment.

3. Redeemed properly

Scan the card's QR at checkout, apply part of the balance, and split the remainder across another payment method.

4. A full history on every card

Who bought it, what's been spent, what's left — no shoebox of paper vouchers.

Questions we get asked

Can I sell both physical and digital gift cards?

Yes. Each business chooses whether it offers pre-printed in-store cards, digital cards, or both.

How does a customer redeem one?

At the register, staff scan the card's QR code or type its number. The balance is checked instantly and can be applied in part, with the rest paid another way.

Can a gift card be sent as a surprise?

Yes — the buyer can hold it and press send themselves later, so the recipient hears about it at the right moment.
